La dédicace du nouvel autel et de l'oratoire de Ste Marie MEYZIEU par Mgr Le Gal, Evêque auxiliaire de Lyon, en présence des élèves, du personnel, des invités et du Directeur de Ste Marie Meyzieu Didier Tourette, et du Chef d'établissement Marc Bouchacourt.

The dedication of the new altar and oratory in Ste Marie MEYZIEU by Mgr Le Gal, auxillary Bishop of Lyon in the presence of staff, students, guests, and the Director of Ste Marie Meyzieu, Didier Tourette, and the Head of Establishment Marc Bouchacourt. 

Le magnifique vitrail est conçu comme un phare et est visible de la ville.

The beautiful stained glass window is designed as a beacon and is visible to the town.

Le mercredi 8 décembre, nous avons organisé une matinée en l’honneur de l’Immaculée Conception.
Un temps spirituel les deux premières heures : témoignages de 10 séminaristes du diocèse dans les classes suivi d’une messe pour tous les élèves au réfectoire.

On Wednesday 8 December, we organised a morning in honour of the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
The first two hours were a spiritual time: testimonies from 10 seminarians of the diocese in the classes, followed by a mass for all the students in the refectory.
 

Après un goûter, les élèves étaient invités à participer à des ateliers manuels, animés par leurs camarades, autour de Noël, notamment pour la décoration du site (crèche, sapin…).

After a snack, the pupils were invited to take part in craft workshops, led by their peers, on the subject of Christmas, in particular for the decoration of the building  (crib, tree, etc.).

En fin de matinée, ils avaient enfin le choix entre un autre atelier manuel, un tournoi sportif ou du bricolage. C’était un beau temps, bien équilibré : temps de recueillement intérieur et temps plus festifs et fraternels.

At the end of the morning, they finally had the choice between another  workshop, a sports tournament or crafts. It was a lovely time, well balanced: time for inner recollection, and more festive and fraternal times.
