Session 2011 de la Neylières pour les laïcs et les pères maristes des établissements de France /..../ 2011 "la Neylière"session for all French Marist lay people and fathers

 

Les 26, 27 et 28  Mars 2011, 77 laïcs et pères maristes en fonction dans les établissements de la région France se sont retrouvés à la Neylière, autour du thème " Une école au service de l'homme tout entier".

Le sujet était riche, et les trois interventions ont été à la hauteur...

Avec Chantal de Fréminville, de la congrégation Saint François Xavier, nous avons considéré l'acte éducatif du point de vue de l'éducateur (comment construire un fomme, comment former son esprit, ...) afin de définir l'enjeu spirituel de l'enseignement.

Avec Xavier Dufour, philosophe, écrivain et professeur de mathématiques, nous avons considéré les implications de l'anthropologie chrétienne dans l'éducation (quelle est cette anthropologie et, à partir des grands axes de la vision chrétienne du monde, vers quelle forme d'éducation faut-il aller).

Paul Malartre, quant à lui, riche de ses années de secrétaire général de l'enseignement catholique de France, nous a livré son défi de l'Enseignement Catholique pour demain: proposer des "boussoles" aux jeunes générations, espérer en elles, leur apprendre à se construire dans la durée, et surtout, "savoir lire en chaque jeune des graines de résurrection".

Des présentations et des réalisations des établissements sont venues apporter, tout au long de la session, une illustration pratique de ce vaste thème .

Enfin, nous nous sommes séparés le dimanche en début d'après midi, après avoir célébré dans la chapelle de la Neylière, où nous avions assisté, la veille au soir, à un spectacle poignant du comédien Pierre Grandry autour d'un texte créé par lui sur la vie du Saint Pierre Damien.   

On March 26th, 27th and 28th 2011, 77 lay people and fathers in office in all French Marists schools, have met in la Neylière to think of " A school to serve the whole man" 

The subject was rich, and the three speeches came up to our expectations...

With Chantal de Fréminville, from the congregation Saint François Xavier, we have considered the educative act from the educator's point of vue (how to build a man, how to form his spirit,...) in order to define the spiritual stake of education.

With Xavier Dufour, a philosopher, a writer and a mathematics teacher, we have considered the implications of Christian anthropology in Education ( what is this anthropology and, from the main lines of the Christian view of the world, to what form of education must we go).

Then, Paul Malartre , thanks to his years as the General Secretary of French Catholic Education, gave us his vision of the Catholic Education challenge for tomorrow: it is to propose "compasses" to the young generations, to teach them how to build themselves for a long-lasting time, and above all, "to be able to read in each young person a seed of resurrection".

Productions from all the schools have given a practical illustration of that wide theme, all along the meeting.

At last, we left each other at the beginning of the sunday afternoon, after a mass celebrated in the chapel, where we saw, the evening before, a deeply moving show of Pierre Grandry, about the life of Saint Father Damien.
