Weihnachtskonzert /.../ Concert de Noël à Fürstenzell /.../ Christmas concert in Fürstenzell

Am 22. Dezember 2014 fand in der Barockkirche von Fürstenzell das alljährliche Weihnachtskonzert statt. Vor der Kirche waren mehrere Feuerkörbe aufgestellt, deren flackerndes Licht die Besucher begrüsste und an denen man sich wärmen konnte. Die Kirche selbst war weihnachtlich geschmückt, Christbäume standen im Chorraum und das Licht war gedämmert. So wurden die zahlreichen Gäste trotz des fehlenden Schnees weihnachtlich eingestimmt.

Ab 19.30 Uhr musizierten dann Schülerinnen und Schüler des Maristengymnasiums Fürstenzell gemeinsam in der Kirche. Neben zahlreichen typischen Lieder und anderen Kompositionen aus dem Repertoire der Adventszeit spielte das Orchester zum Beispiel eine eigens für sie angefertige Auftragskomposition und die schuleigene Big Band wurde erstmals vom Chor zu Weihnachtsliedern wie ,,Let it Snow'' oder ,,Little Drummer Boy'' begleitet.

Indem sich die Musiker auf verschiedene Chöre und Plätze in der gesamten Kirche verteilten, wurde dem Zuhörer das Gefühl vermittelt, als wäre man Teil der Musik, die überall herzukommen schien. Gänsehautmomente konnten also nicht nur der Kälte zugeschrieben werden.

Nach dem Konzert boten Schüler und Schülerinnen Glühwein, Punsch, Plätzchen und weitere Leckerein an. Auch bestand noch die Möglichkeit, sich am warmen Lagerfeuer auszutauschen, bevor es dann nach Hause ging.

Es war wie jedes Jahr eine wunderbare Einstimmung auf das bevorstehende Weihnachtsfest. Und das Beste: Durch freiwillige Spenden kamen 2.200 Euro zusammen, die wir dem Centro di Aggregazione Giovanile in Brecia, geleitet von unseren Maristenfreunden, zusammen lassen konnten.

Le concert de Noël annuel a eu lieu le 22 décembre dans l'église baroque de Fürstenzell. Les visiteurs ont été accueillis par la chaleur et les flammes dansantes de plusieurs braseros qu'on avait mis devant l'église. L'église elle-même avait été décorée pour Noël. Il y avait des sapins de Noël dans le choeur et on avait baissé les lumières, ce qui a mis tout le monde dans l'ambiance pour Noël, malgré la neige qui tombait.

Les élèves du Maristengymnasium Fürstenzell ont commencé leur concert à 19h30. L'orchestre a interprété non seulement de nombreuses chansons traditionnelles et d'autres morceaux de musique du répertoire de l'Avent, mais aussi une nouvelle composition qui avait été commandée spécialement. Le Big Band du lycée a été accompagné pour la première fois par la chorale pour interpréter des chansons de Noël telles que 'Let it Snow' ou 'Little Drummer Boy'.

Les musiciens étaient assis dans plusieurs endroits de l'église. Les membres de l'assistance avaient donc l'impression de faire partie de la musique qui semblait venir de partout, ce qui a créé une ambiance toute particulière.

Après le concert, les élèves ont servi du vin chaud, du punch, des petits gateaux et d'autres friandises traditionnelles. Et on a pu aussi bavarder en se chauffant devant le feu avant de rentrer chez soi.

Comme chaque année, c'était une excellente préparation pour la fête de Noël. Mais, ce qui a rendu la soirée encore meilleure, c'est que, grâce à des dons volontaires, nous avons collecté 2,200 euros que, sur recommendation de nos amis maristes, nous avons offerts au Centro di Aggregazione Giovanile à Brescia.

The annual Christmas concert took place in the Baroque Church in Fürstenzell on 22 December 2014. In front of the Church several fire baskets had been set up. Their flickering light greeted the visitors and provided them with some warmth. The Church itself was suitably decorated, with Christmas trees in the choir and with the lights dimmed. So the numerous guests were feeling in the right mood for Christmas in spite of the falling snow.

The students of the Maristengymnasium began their concert in the Church at 7.30pm. In addition to many traditional songs and other works associated with Advent, the orchestra also played a piece that had been specially commissioned, and the school's Big Band was accompanied for the first time by the choir for Christmas songs such as 'Let it Snow' and 'Little Drummer Boy'.

The musicians sat in various parts of the Church, so that the audience had the feeling of being part of the music which appeared to be coming from all directions. This created an effect that gave shivers down the back that could not be attributed merely to the cold!

After the concert the students served mulled wine, punch, cookies and other treats. And there was also the chance of a chat around the fire before it was time to head home.

It was, as it is every year, a wonderful preparation for Christmas. And the best thing was that from voluntary donations we collected 2,200 euros which, guided by our Marist friends, we were able to give to the Centro di Aggregazione Giovanile in Brescia.
