'Voir grand' à La Seyne /.../ 'Think big' at La Seyne

Nous avons inauguré en cette rentrée le majestueux cheminement qui relient désormais les 2 bâtiments principaux.

Ce cheminement, outre l'accès aux personnes handicapées qu'il permet, apporte à tous un confort de plus, et, grâce au cordon ombilical créé, ajoute à la cohérence de l'ensemble.

Les élèves se sont aussi saisis de cette nouvelle structuration de la cour, et le 'jardin de Marie' devient désormais le carrefour naturel des lycéens. Une conséquence inattendue mais heureuse de ces travaux obligés.

Un grand merci aux associations gestionnaires et propriétaires et à leur président, à notre architecte et notre attaché de gestion pour leur lucidité et leur ambition.

As the new school year got underway, we inaugurated the majestic pathway that henceforth links the two main buildings.

This pathway, in addition to the disabled access that it provides, enhances the site for everyone, and, thanks to the umbilical cord thus created, it adds to the coherence of the whole.

The pupils have also made this new layout of the courtyard their own, and 'Mary's garden' has become the natural focal point for the sixth formers. An unintended, but welcome, consequence of these necessary works.

A big thank you to the management and property associations and to their chairman, to our architect and to our assistant manager for their vision and their ambition.
