I ragazzi dell’ISGE in televisione nazionale

Alcuni ragazzi dell’Istituto San Giovanni Evangelista hanno partecipato a due incontri in una importante trasmissione televisiva sulla rete nazionale RAI 3 che in Italia viene seguita da centinaia di migliaia di telespettatori.

La trasmissione si chiama “Tante storie” e riguarda la presentazione di un libro fatta dal suo autore.

Il conduttore è molto noto in tutta Italia e si chiama Corrado Augias.

Nel primo incontro i ragazzi hanno discusso con il magistrato Gherardo Colombo, anche lui molto famoso in Italia perché è stato uno dei giudici di “Mani pulite”, una inchiesta che negli anni novanta mise in crisi tutta la classe politica italiana.

Gherardo Colombo ha scritto un libro che si chiama DEMOCRAZIA e spiega con parole semplici e tanti esempi concreti il significato della democrazia nella società di oggi e spiega quanto sia importante la partecipazione e il rispetto delle regole per la convivenza civile e la crescita umana e sociale.

I ragazzi hanno fatto domande a cui il giudice ha risposto con semplicità e apprezzamento.

Nel secondo incontro i ragazzi hanno discusso con Andrea Riccardi, il fondatore della Comunità di Sant’Egidio che si occupa dei poveri, dei senzatetto, dei migranti, dei rifugiati, della solidarietà e della pace.

Una caratteristica della comunità di Sant’Egidio, molto amata da Papa Francesco, è la preghiera.

E proprio sulla preghiera i ragazzi dell’ISGE sono intervenuti per indicare il significato della preghiera come momento unitario e fondamentale di una comunità.

Andrea Riccardi ha detto che “la preghiera è il cuore della vita della Comunità di Sant’Egidio ed è la sua priorità assoluta. Alla fine del giorno, ogni Comunità, grande o piccola, si riunisce attorno al Signore per ascoltare la sua Parola”. 

I ragazzi hanno potuto visitare gli studi televisivi e capire come si fa un programma televisivo, conoscere le persone che lavorano e scoprire il backstage di un mondo che non conoscevano.

Des élèves de l'Istituto San Giovanni Evangelista ont participé à deux débats au cours d'une importante émission télévisée qui est suivie en Italie par des centaines de milliers de téléspectateurs sur la chaîne nationale RAI 3.

Le thème de l'émission, qui s'appelle « Tante storie », est la présentation d'un livre par son auteur. L'animateur de l'émission, qui s'appelle Corrado Augias, est très connu dans toute l'Italie.

Lors du premier débat, les élèves ont discuté avec le magistrat Gherardo Colombo, qui est aussi très célèbre en Italie parce qu'il était un des juges de « Mains propres », enquête qui dans les années 90 a plongé dans la crise toute la classe politique italienne.

Gherardo Colombo a écrit un livre intitulé DEMOCRAZIA (Démocratie) dans lequel il explique dans un style simple la signification de la démocratie dans la société actuelle. Il explique également l'importance de la participation démocratique et du respect des règles de coexistence civile et de croissance humaine et sociale.

Les élèves  ont posé des questions que le juge a beaucoup appréciées et auxquelles il a répondu de façon claire et simple.

Lors du deuxième débat, les élèves ont discuté avec Andrea Riccardi, fondateur de la Communauté de Sant'Egidio, qui s'occupe des pauvres, des sans-abri, des migrants, des réfugiés, et qui promeut la solidarité et la paix.

La prière est une caractéristique de la communauté de Sant'Egidio, qui est très aimée par le pape François. Et les élèves de l'ISGE sont intervenus à propos de la prière pour en parler en tant que force fondamentale qui unit une communauté.

Andrea Riccardi a déclaré que «la prière est le cœur de la vie de la Communauté de Sant'Egidio et constitue sa priorité absolue. À la fin de la journée, chaque communauté, grande ou petite, se réunit autour du Seigneur pour écouter sa Parole ".

Les élèves ont visité les studios et ont appris comment on réalise une émission de télévision. Ils ont  également rencontré les gens qui y travaillent et out pu découvrir les coulisses d'un monde qu'ils ne connaissaient pas.

Students from the Istituto San Giovanni Evangelista have taken part in two televised discussions on a programme broadcast on the national RAI 3 network, which has hundreds of thousands of viewers in Italy.

The programme is called "Tante storie" and is based on the presentation of a book by its author. The presenter is Corrado Augias, who is very well known throughout Italy.

In the first discussion, the students met the magistrate Gherardo Colombo, who is also very well known in Italy because he was one of the "Clean Hands" judges, an investigation that led to a crisis in the whole Italian political class in the nineteen nineties.

Gherardo Colombo has written a book called DEMOCRAZIA (Democracy) which explains in simple language, and with concrete examples, the meaning of democracy in today's society. It explains also how important it is to participate and to respect the rules for civil coexistence and human and social growth.

The students asked questions that the judge appreciated and which he answered with great simplicity.

In the second meeting, the youngsters talked to Andrea Riccardi, the founder of the Community of Sant'Egidio, which cares for the poor, the homeless, migrants, refugees, solidarity and peace.

A characteristic of the community of Sant'Egidio, much loved by Pope Francis, is prayer.

And on this question of prayer, the ISGE students were able to talk about the significance of prayer as a fundamental, unifying force within a community.

Andrea Riccardi said that "prayer is the heart of the life of the Community of Sant'Egidio and is its top priority. At the end of the day, every community, large or small, gathers around the Lord to listen to His Word”.  

The students were able to visit the television studios and to learn how a television programme is put together. They were also able to meet the people who work there and to discover the backstage of a world they did not know.
