Ouverture et consécration de la petite chapelle de MADE iN SML Opening and consecration of the little chapel at MADE iN SML

Ce vendredi 28 septembre 2018, Monseigneur Gobilliard, évêque auxiliaire de Lyon, est venu consacrer l’autel pour une chapelle à l’entrée des nouveaux bâtiments du supérieur de Sainte-Marie Lyon dénommé MADE iN. Dans un autel en loupe d’érable a été placée une relique de Marcellin Champagnat ; Mgr Gobiliard a oint avec du saint-chrème la pierre d’autel avant d’allumer quatre tisons sur lesquels de l’encens a été répandu. Le Christ est présent dans cet autel et, à l’entrée de nos bâtiments, accueille tous les étudiants quotidiennement. La messe a rassemblé les étudiants, les professeurs, les membres du personnel, les amis de la maison. L’autel ainsi consacré a ensuite été déposé dans la chapelle que notre évêque a bénie.

Que Saint Marcellin Champagnat donne à notre maison de grandir sans oublier le service des plus faibles et le souci d’annoncer la bonne nouvelle.

On Friday 28 September 2018, Monsignor Gobilliard, the Auxiliary Bishop of Lyon, came to consecrate the altar for a chapel at the entrance to the new buildings of the Higher Education section of Sainte-Marie Lyon, which is called MADE iN. A relic of Marcellin Champagnat was placed in a maple altar; Mgr Gobiliard anointed the altar stone with chrism before lighting four charcoal embers which were sprinkled with incense. Christ is present in this altar and, at the entrance to our buildings, welcomes the students daily. The Mass brought together the students, the teaching and support staff, and friends of the institution. Having been consecrated, the altar was taken into the chapel which was blessed by our Bishop.

May Saint Marcellin Champagnat help our institution to grow without forgetting to serve the most vulnerable and the need to proclaim the good news.
