Chaque année la rentrée scolaire c’est le commencement ou le recommencement. À l’Institution sainte Marie nous avons institué une célébration de rentrée réunissant et unissant la totalité de la communauté éducative afin de se mettre en chemin sur le thème de l’année : « Marie des commencements ».

 

Cette célébration a pour fil rouge d’être un temps d’intériorité à la prière mais également dans un objectif d’une éducation au silence au sens d’une école qui fait grandir par l’intériorité. Ce temps de prière est véritablement un temps fort de l’année où nos 1000 jeunes sont dans le silence et l’écoute.

 

Marie-Christine JOLIVET Cheffe d’établissement ouvre l’année scolaire en annonçant le thème de l’année en lien avec les valeurs de la spiritualité maristes.

Every year the start of school is a beginning for some and a re-start for others. At the Sainte Marie we have instituted a 'Back to School' celebration to bring together and to unite the entire educational community in order to set out on the theme of the year: "Mary at the beginning".

 

This celebration has as a recurrent theme, a time of private prayer but also the goal of educating students to the silence, that makes our school grow and develop through private reflection. This prayer time is truly a highlight of the year when our 1000 young people are in silence and listening.

Marie-Christine JOLIVET Head of School opens the school year by announcing the theme of the year in relation to the values ​​of Marist spirituality.

Then, students take the floor to express their joy at starting a new year as a "Marist".

Finally, Father Bernard Thomasset concluded this time of reflection with a blessing.

 
This wonderful celebration is a true communion where we are all together. We even dare to say that we are one body, one heart in the sense of Mary, the mother of our hope.
