Installation d'un Eco-Digesteur de 200kg à la Verpillière 

Sainte-Marie-Lyon s'est lancé depuis plus d'un an dans un programme de tri et de valorisation des déchets. La démarche éducative d'attention à la sauvegarde de notre environnement nous semble en effet faire partie de la pédagogie mariste. Il s'agit d'être bien modestement attentif aux choses, à notre entourage, aux personnes qui sont au service des élèves. Tout n'est pas dans les grandes choses.

A Lyon, c'est un "lombricomposteur" qui a été installé (v/ photo) . Chaque jour, les déchets de la cuisine, déjà un peu triés par les élèves ou par les personnels, arrivent dans ces bacs et les lombrics se chargent, en une année, de les transformer en terreau. L'expérimentation est en cours depuis Septembre 2012.

A la Verpillière, on s'est équipé d'un éco-digesteur de 200kg, capable de traiter les 80 kg des 1800 repas quotidiens, afin de sensibiliser les écoliers et de continuer la réflexion sur le tri et le traitement des déchets.

En collaboration avec la Communauté d'Agglomération des Portes de l'Isère (C.A.P.I), la Mairie de la Verpillière, le Syndicat Mixte du Nord-Dauphiné, chargé de la collecte des déchets, de l'Agence de l'Environnement et de la Maitrise de l'Energie (A.D.E.M.E) nous utilisons et testons, depuis le jeudi 31 Janvier 2013, cette technique innovante.

Installation of a 200 kilos "Eco-Digester" at la Verpillière

For more than one year Sainte-Marie-Lyon has been starting a programme of sorting and recovering waste. It is true that the educative approach of taking care of the protection of our environment is for us part of Marist Education. It is a question of paying modestly attention to things, to our environment, to the persons who take care of the pupils. Not only big things are important.

In Lyon, it is an "earthwormcomposter" that was put up (see the picture). Everyday,  catering wastes, slightly sorted before by pupils or by school-staff, go to these tubs where earthworms turn them into soil-based compost in one year. That experimentation began in September 2012.

 

In la Verpillière a 200 kilos "Eco-Digester" was put up and is able to deal with the 80 kilos of the 1800 daily meals, in order to make pupils aware and to go on thinking about sorting and treating waste.

In collaboration with the Community of all the cities in that part of Isere (C.A.P.I.), with la Verpillière Town Council, with  the "Syndicat Mixte du Nord-Dauphine" in charge of collecting waste , and with the Environment and Enregy Control Agency ("A.D.E.M.E.") we have been using and testing that innovating technique since Thursday January 31st, 2013.
